It is an exciting time to be at John H Francis Polytechnic High School (Los Angeles Unified School District) with our new music technology and industries studies program, taught by Ms Amy Lui.
Here at Poly, our goal is to enhance our students' learning by integrating a college-level curriculum with real world experiences that allow for interactions and collaborations with music industry professionals. We strive to provide our students with unique experiences that may lead to skill development and opportunities toward meaningful careers in the creative and entrepreneurial fields.
This website is an ongoing work in progress as we continue to add more to our curriculum and showcase more student work along with the growing list of individuals and organizations that contribute to our student learning and career pathways.
If you are an educator and would like resources and help teaching music technology and industries studies, please feel free to reach out to Amy and she will be more than happy to help!
If you are an industry professional or organization that would like to partner with Amy and the program, please also feel free to reach out!
